Green Cola was part of the most important food and beverage fair, Anuga 2019, in Cologne, Germany. Anuga food and beverage fair took place between 5 – 9 October, with 7,590 exhibitors from 106 countries and more than 170,000 trade visitors from 201 countries. Most of the participating companies and exhibitors in Anuga were international visitors – 90%, a fact that underlines the global success of the fair. The leading trade event is very close to reaching its hundredth year, as it remains one of the most influential meeting points for the food and beverage industry.
During Anuga 2019, the Green Cola Greece and International teams had the opportunity to be part of this unique 5-day trade fair, where all new, innovative products and internationally pioneering trends are seen for the first time. More than 6,000 visitors came to Green Cola’s custom-made exhibition stand, while at the same time some very important business meetings took place. Most importantly, the Green Cola & Family products were very well received by visitors and traders from all over the world for both their refreshing and enjoyable taste, as well as their innovative recipe. The vision behind the recipe is based on the use of natural ingredients, such as sweeteners from the stevia plant, natural caffeine from green coffee beans, absence of sugar and aspartame, high juice content and many other features, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Green Cola’s first participation in Anuga trade fair was part of the company’s strategic plan, in order to expand to more international markets. Following the same strategy, Green Cola is already present in 25 countries, whereas the Green Cola brand has already been registered as a trademark in 140 countries.
Mr George Venieris, Green Cola’s GM, stated: ‘’We are very excited about our participation in Anuga 2019 fair since we received a very positive feedback from both trade and business visitors of the fair. We had the opportunity to meet with buyers from countries where Green Cola & Family is not present, as well as strengthen our business relations with our current partners. This underlines that our country is key to the future of the food and beverage industry, on European as well as at the International level. Anuga is the world’s leading trade fair for the food and beverage industry that is held once every 2 years in Cologne, Germany. The most important trends for this year’s trade fair were: Non-GMO products, Halal-certified foods, superfoods, kosher products, organic products, products of protected designation of origin, ready-to – eat, fair trade, vegan & vegetarian products, ‘free from’ products. Anuga 2017 included 165.000 visitors form 198 countries, as well as 7.405 participating companies from the global food industry.
